Day 20 We Explore Aust Part 2 2010

Big day to day we drove to Loganlea and caught the train up to the Ecca to the Motor home and Caravan and Camping Show. Fantastic day made us realise just how lucky we are to have the motor home we have. Gerald got a couple of lights and I got a toaster for the gas stove not really the one I wanted but it will do until I get the right one. Back on the train and home.

Unfortunately Jake's ute had broken down, so all the boys got under the hood and now think they have the problem solved. Have to get parts tomorrow.

Dena had a meal in the slow cooker when we got home.

Day 19 We Explore Aust Part 2 2010

Not a lot again today, the boys had lots of friends coming and going and working on their bikes. I caught up with my washing.

We loaded Skype on my computer so I can chat with friends and family free......but surely nothings for free.....we will see.

Day 17 We Explore Aust Part 2 2010

Went into Jimboomba and filled up with food and wine. Then headed up to Salisbury, where Dena works and had lunch with her. We forgot that its a long weekend up here and the traffic was awful, stayed at the Beaudesert Caravan Park.

Day 16 We Explore Aust Part 2 2010

Heading across to Dena's today. Had to fuel up at Warwick and what a performance that was. There was one chap that couldn't get the gas hose to screw in and when he eventually finished he washed his windows and locked the car, wife in it, and strolled over to pay. Next guy couldn't quite get in the proper place and the only put $13 in, but at least he did move out before paying. They had to wait for us to put in 145 lt, and I was over ready to pay as soon as Gerald had finished.

Into Boonah for the night at the showgrounds, very nice, still a bit chilli at night.

Day 15 We Explore Aust Part 2 2010

Well out in our shorts for the first time today, but its still cold at night. Just sat round and read.

Thought we would go into the spa a little bit earlier today, there was no one there, but we must have been magnets because all the nomads kept coming till there was about 12 in there so we got out and went back to reading.

Day 14 We Explore Aust Part 2 2010

Caught up with some friends in Moree and looked at their new units, which looked really good.

On our way to Boomi we saw lots of cotton on the side of the road and in one place there seem to be lots of pallets of cotton but its hard to get a picture at 80 km. The land is so flat.

Arrived at Boomi Chad and Tracy booked us in $28 for two night and entry to the pool area, we think it was $13 for a powered site, bit hard to follow, but everything was there showers toilets and washing machine.

Went to the local Pub for lunch Gerald had home made rissols and gravey and I had fishermans basket a total of $23.

Back for a soak in the spa
