Sloop Rock

We (grandsons Jake 16 yo,Jack 12yo,Gerald and myself)headed off to St Helens and stopped at Scottsdale for supplies and then Derby for lunch couldn't stop in the designated area had Holly (dog) with us. On to Sloop Rock where we had had a family shack for years and even though the boys had been there when they were very small, I wanted to show it to them again. We were only suppose to be there for two nights but the boys enjoyed swimming and boarding in the lagoon that we stayed another night. We did run short on water with all the showers the boys had. Anyway it was a successful trip. Lucky we had the vacuum cleaner to get rid of all that black sand.
