Its nice to be travelling with someone who knows the area. Today Trevor led us to a lovely spot in Carnarvon right on the water. We walked over to the supermarket and Gerald found a chemist and I got some more tops and shorts. Another cunning place there is a Wollies but no Wollies petrol a Coles petrol and no Coles. Lucky I had vouchers.
Anyway when we got back from shopping Trevor had the table and chairs out and we had home made rolls and a cup of tea by the water, very nice.
On to Gladstone Beach there was a gate and had we been by ourselves we wouldn't have gone through it. But its only 6 km of dirt road not corrugated said Trevor......right it almost shook the windows out of the bus. We did eventually get there and I said after that we are staying at least two nights $1 per person per night.
